YOUNG ARTISTS STUDIO GALLERY
Two years ago, Yvonne began her "Young Artist Studio" children's art program for youngsters ranging from age 9 to 12. The program's mission is to "offer a world of art just for kids!" Yvonne is now successfully into her 5th year of teaching kids how to draw, sketch and paint, something she loves to do because it allows her the opportunity to share her passion for drawing and painting with young children. The "Young Artist Studio" is also an effective way to introduce children to the world of art and to inspire them to want to become artists.

Young Artist: Anthony ~ Age 10
Anthony proudly displays the rabbit portrait
he created during his first art lesson. Before his art lesson, Anthony could only draw stick figures. I gave him a series of lessons on depth, volume, texture and shadowing. I also taught him how to draw a series of circles before we cut away those circles to form the various shapes of the rabbit. Anthony was an excellent, attentive art student because he loved to draw.
